Bacca open to PSG move after AC Milan sign Andre Silva

Carlos Bacca is open to joining Paris Saint-Germain after AC Milan signed Portugal striker Andre Silva.

Milan sealed the signing of Silva from Porto on Monday in a deal that could reach a value of €40million.

That is likely to move Bacca down the pecking order at San Siro, despite the Colombia international having scored 31 Serie A goals in his two seasons at the club after signing from Sevilla in 2015.

Bacca s agent Sergio Barila would not rule out the possibility of a move to PSG when asked about his client s situation.

A lucrative move to the Chinese Super League or MLS is not on Bacca s agenda, though, with next year s World Cup in Russia central to his thoughts.

Liverpool 1-0 West Ham: Nunez header gives Reds narrow win

Liverpool secured a second 1-0 win in the space of a few days after beating West Ham in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Darwin Nunez s first-half header was enough to seal the points for Jurgen Klopp s men, his first goal at Anfield for his new club.

West Ham were second best for most of the game but will still be disappointed to leave empty-handed after Jarrod Bowen saw a penalty saved by Alisson just before the break.

It ends a run of five games without defeat for David Moyes team, while Liverpool followed up their impressive victory over Manchester City on Sunday.

5 Among all Premier League players this season, only Kevin De Bruyne (11) has made more assists across all competitions than Konstantinos Tsimikas (5). Outlet.

Kroenke´s Arsenal takeover in doubt

Stan Kroenke s attempt to take control of Arsenal looks set to falter after Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov refused to sell his shares.

American businessman Kroenke increased his stake in the English Premier League club to 62.89 per cent this week after agreeing to purchase the shares of board members Danny Fizsman and Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith.

The deal obliged Kroenke to make a cash offer for all remaining shares in the club.

Usmanov, who has previously expressed an interest in a full takeover of his own, appears unlikely to part with his 27 per cent stake in the club.

I m not going to sell my stake, Usmanov said.

I love Arsenal, that s why I m a shareholder.

Usmanov s investment company Red and White Holdings bought into Arsena…

Rio Ferdinand will never forgive ´biggest idiot´ Terry

Chelsea captain John Terry will always be the biggest idiot for his role in the 2011 racism row, according to Rio Ferdinand.

QPR defender Ferdinand no longer speaks to Terry or Ashley Cole after the ugly incident involving his brother Anton.

Terry called Anton a f****** black c*** during a league game in 2011 while Cole supported the 33-year-old in court.

Rio Ferdinand said he would never forgive Terry for the pain he put his family through.

For me, the biggest idiot will always be John Terry, Ferdinand writes in his autobiography, an extract of which was published in The Sun on Sunday.

As England captain and my centre-back partner he could have saved everyone a lot of pain by admitting immediately he used the word in the heat of the moment, but…

ŠK Slovan Bratislava 8/13 to win against Pyunik in this afternoon’s Europa League qualifier

Competition: Europa League qualifier
Market: Slovan Bratislava to win against Pyunik
Odds:

Slovan Bratislava travel to the Republican Stadium to face Pyunik in the first leg of the first round of the Europa League qualifiers this afternoon, and are big favourites to come out on top given their superior squad and form. Pyunik ended the previous season short on victories and find themselves 138 places worse off in the UEFA club coefficient rankings.

As for the home side, Sargis Hovsepyan’s Pyunik side have picked up just two wins in all competitions in their last seven games. Their record in Europe has been disappointing, failing to make it past the second round of the Champions League or Europa League qualifiers in the last 20 years, and are likely to come …

BST 15:00 Manchester United vs Brighton

Picking up a 1-0 win away at Wembley last weekend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has equaled Sir Matt Busby s unbeaten start to life at Manchester United and few would have expected the Norweigan s immediate success. With United now winning their last five Premier League matches on the bounce, the Reds now sit level on points with Arsenal and their top-four dreams might still be alive. With the United legend handing his side a newfound attacking identity, Solskjaer s arrival has also played a huge role in Marcus Rashford s very impressive run of f…

Ten-man Burnley twice come from behind to hold Chelsea despite Cole Palmer brace

Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw by Burnley at Stamford Bridge as Vincent Kompany’s side twice came from behind with 10 men to frustrate the hosts.

At five league games it became Chelsea’s longest unbeaten run in the league in almost 18 months, but there was little good cheer directed towards Mauricio Pochettino and his players by fans at the final whistle, after they saw Dara O’Shea snatch a point for Burnley late on.

Cole Palmer had earlier scored twice, the first a penalty after defender Lorenz Assignon had been dismissed for fouling Mykhailo Mudryk, then making it 2-1 after being set up by a delightful flick from the under-fire Raheem Sterling.

In between, Josh Cullen volleyed Burnley level against the run of play early in the second half, as their top-f…
